This solution is designed t to estimate when a specific part is giving up, and schedule a recovery routine before the equipment fails. It uses ultrasonic detectors, which are capable of accurately interpreting the sounds created by under-lubrication, over-lubrication, or early signs of wear
Application areas
This solution is applicable in four broad areas, Pump cavitation analysis, analysis of partial discharges, analysis of pressure or vacuum leaks, analysis of slow bearings. Pump cavitation analysis is suitable for the early detection of cavitation problems in pumps, while analysis of partial discharges deals with the inspection of medium voltage cells of electric arcs and partial discharges. Analysis of pressure or vacuum leaks involves the in-situ inspection and quantification of pressure and vacuum circuit leaks, while analysis of slow bearings captures and diagnoses low revving bearings. Ultrasonic analysis is generally very useful for leak detection, mechanical analysis, and electrical inspections.
What we do
- For Pump Cavitation Analysis, we use the waveform analysis technique to measure and diagnose if there is a high-frequency friction problem that is deteriorating the parts, and thus adjust the working curve of the pump to operate under normal operating conditions.
- For Analysis of partial discharges, we conduct ultrasound analysis to detect Corona effect (high voltage air ionization ) follow up problems or baby arch (damaged isolation path), electric arc (electricity flowing through the air).
- Important data for trend reports, grouping alarms, and analysis is then generated.
Benefits
- Reduced energy cost due to better compressed air leak management
- Early detection of leaks in pressure and vacuum systems and quantification of the economic impact
- Accurate in detecting faults missed by other preventive maintenance methods such as vibration analysis etc
- Reduced energy losses caused by overconsumption in compressors
- Reduced gas losses in pressure pipes
- Increase the reliability of machines by ensuring they are operating under normal conditions
- Extremely effective for condition based lubrication, , detects lack of lubrication, and prevents excess lubrication
